Propane is better than nothing, esp if you're patient and use the hottest
part of the flame (the tip of the blue part).

Some folks I trust on another forum swear by "Kroil" (or "Aero Kroil" which
is Kroil in a spray can). They claim it's much much better than PB Blaster
(which in my experience is much better than Liquid Wrench). I've never tried
it myself, but I was well enough convinced that I ordered a can (go to
http://www.kanolabs.com). No affiliation, etc etc.

I've used both (and own both), there is a big difference, the propane gives
false hope, the oxy/acet gives results. :)

all i have for heat is a plumbers propane tank...i guess it is better than
nothing, (then again if i had nothing i would probably get a torch :)
