Intercooler advice needed

Staring an intercooler project on a 1.6 90 miata with a jackson racing m45 supercharger. i'd like to put an intercooler in it and save money for tires. i have heard that a Volkswafgen TDI one will work well.

Please stop me from regret before the patient goes under the knife.
