Bruce,
I think E100 will be VERY difficult to start, particularly in cold climate.
I've been running E85 in my EVO for the past year and a half. Even though
Tucson is relatively warm - 40*F low so far - I still have to inject a
bunch of extra fuel to get it to fire off. It is my understanding that ethanol
is very hard to ignite; that is the primary reason for the 15% gasoline in
E85.
E85 will require 30% more fuel by volume (E100 about 40% more). So, for E85
installing injectors that are 30% larger (with a fuel pump that will
support the same pressure and the increased flow) should allow the engine to run
pretty well on the gasoline tune. Then fine tune to 12:1 AFR (gasoline),
or 12.5:1 if you are
brave.

I have 2 questions.
1: What is needed to run E100 ethanol?
2: Does anyone make an aluminum block?
Thank you,
Bruce
